The mission of Imperfect Perfections is to empower people through fashion by offering gender-affirming and size-inclusive apparel.
In short, design, upload to the DTF company with sizes and quantities. Trim the film transfers and place in drawer for easy access. Once shirts are washed/dried they are taken to the shop where I add the Imperfect Perfections logo inside the color and place a size sticker on front, then put on a hanger. Now it is ready to be turned into someone's story.
The designs are created then uploaded to the company. I prefer to purchase in bulk since I have about 45-50 set designs; with those set designs will be various sizes for each. Having a supply allows me to take special orders and the ability to make at any time.
Absolutely. I personally source every flannel and denim jacket, ensuring each piece is unique, high-quality, and ready to become part of your story.
When purchasing new hoodies, beanies, and apparel, I use local businesses that source products made in the USA.
All designs are created by me and brought to life through DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing at a trusted print shop. This process allows each piece to feature vibrant, detailed artwork while keeping the unique, one-of-a-kind feel of the design. Each transfer is printed on a special film and then attached to material using a heat press with specific temperatures and times.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) Printing is a method where your design is first printed onto a special film using high-quality inks. It’s then coated with a special adhesive and heat-pressed onto fabric, creating a vibrant, long-lasting design that’s permanently bonded to your apparel.
No, not at all. Every piece created is made with care, and the way I bring designs to life is important.
Let's look at the differences.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing starts with the design printed on a special film, which is then heat-pressed onto fabric; this makes it perfect for vibrant, detailed artwork on a variety of fabrics and materials.
Sublimation, on the other hand, works differently: special inks turn into gas and bond directly with polyester fibers, which is great for certain fabrics but doesn’t give the same flexibility or texture as DTF.
Each method is unique, and we use DTF to ensure your piece feels as special as the story it tells.
Every piece is one-of-a-kind and thoughtfully designed, making each truly yours. Because of this unique nature, all apparel and accessories are final sale and not eligible for returns.
Currently shipping is only within the United States.
